Hubei Kailong Chemical Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") was restructured in 1994 from the former state-owned military enterprise, Xiangsha Chemical Plant (code-named Factory No.9615). After over 50 years of development, the Company has grown from a single local military enterprise into a diversified enterprise group. It is a leading enterprise in Hubei's civil explosives industry and a key backbone enterprise in the national civil explosives sector. The Company has 3 branches and 63 holding subsidiaries (including sub-subsidiaries) and was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on December 9, 2015.

The Company is one of the few enterprises in the national civil explosives industry with a complete industrial chain, having developed a full-chain model encompassing ammonia synthesis, ammonium nitrate, compound fertilizers, civil explosives, blasting services, mining, and transportation of hazardous and dangerous goods. its operations are divided into five main segments. In the civil explosives segment, industrial explosives production capacity exceeds 280,000 tons/year including 87,100 tons of mixed explosives, covering four product types: emulsion explosive, expanded explosives, modified ammonium oil explosives, and seismic column, has production license capacity for digital electronic detonators of 70.08 million pieces, production license capacity for detonating cord detonators (export only) of 5 million pieces, production license capacity for plastic detonating cords of 370 million meters, production license capacity for detonating cord of 20 million meters, production license capacity for booster of 4,500 tons. The chemical products segment has a combined production capacity for ammonium nitrate and compound fertilizers of 800,000 tons/year, with ammonia synthesis capacity at 200,000 tons/year. The mining products segment includes production capacity of 14 million tons/year of construction aggregates, 1 million tons/year of calcium oxide (lime), and 50,000 tons/year of nano calcium carbonate. The engineering blasting services segment comprises 15 blasting companies with various qualifications, including 3 with first-class blasting qualifications. The modern logistics segment includes 11 logistics companies, with 10 specializing in hazardous goods transportation and 1 operating a dedicated railway line, with a fleet of 336 vehicles and a total approved load capacity of approximately 2.300 tons.
