The companys patented LUXEON® Power Light Sources are the first to combine the brightness of conventional lighting with the small footprint, long life and other advantages of LEDs. The company also supplies core LED material and LED packaging, manufacturing billions of LEDs annually, and ranks as the producer of the worlds brightest red, amber, blue, green and white LEDs. Mission To bring the small form factor, long life span and other benefits of solid-state illumination based on Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) to general lighting applications such as light fixtures, traffic signals, automotive, signaling and LCD displays through power LED technology. History Lumileds began as the optoelectronics division in Hewlett-Packard (HP) almost 40 years ago. Hewlett-Packards experts literally wrote the book on LEDs. In the late 1990s, recognizing the potential for solid-state lighting, HP and Philips, one of the worlds leading lighting companies, began exploring how they could work together and deliver a new solid-state lighting solution to the market. In 1999 HP split its company into two, and the optoelectronics group was assigned to the new Agilent Technologies. In November of the same year, recognizing the enormous potential for LEDs, Agilent Technologies and Philips (NYSE:PHG) formed Lumileds and assigned it the responsibility of developing and marketing the worlds brightest LEDs and enabling a new world of light. In 2005, Philips acquired Agilent Technologies’ interest in Lumileds. Today, the company continues to lead the industry in the development and release of increasingly brighter and technically advanced solid-state lighting technology. Products Philips Lumileds Lighting Company is a fully integrated manufacturer of LED dice, packaged LEDs, and high-brightness LEDs—LUXEON®—designed for integration into general lighting products. When Marvin built his first headgate in a one room shop on his farm, he had no idea that his first piece of ranch equipment would help revolutionize the livestock handling industry and go on to become the foundation of one of the most respected ranch equipment manufacturing companies in the business. Now in its third generation of leadership, Priefert is still family owned and operated. Its product offerings have expanded to include cattle, equine, poultry, canine, and rodeo lines, making Priefert a one stop shop for all your farm, ranch, and rodeo needs. Considered the leading innovator in the livestock handling industry, Priefert continues to develop and produce equipment that is safe and durable for both the animal and the operator. Starting with Marvins invention of the first side closing, gliding action headgate, Priefert has continued to lead the way by introducing the first contoured side squeeze chute, the first double pivot calf table, the first open-sided sweep, and the first full line of powder-coated products. Priefert maintains total quality control by designing and executing each part of the development and production of its products. Starting with raw steel, Priefert oversees each step of the process through to finished good, creating products that are pound for pound, dollar for dollar, the best value on the market. Recognized as having the highest quality equipment available, Priefert is proud to have its products used and endorsed by the top cattle, equine, rodeo and roping organizations in the country. From the PBR to the PRCA and even the National Finals Rodeo, Priefert is the equipment of choice for the most elite levels of competition. Given that these pros know how important it is to "practice like you compete," Priefert is also used by more world champion cowboys and horse professionals than any other brand. A lot has changed since that first headgate, but decades later one thing remains constant Prieferts commitment to producing quality products. Located on the outskirts of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, the familys ranch is the first proving ground for the vast majority of Priefert products. Thats why we say "Built by Ranchers, for Ranchers". Durability, versatility, and functionality are combined with first-rate craftsmanship and an eye for detail as products are made to fit the needs and demands of a growing market. Cattle ranchers with herds from 10 to 10,000, horse owners seeking safety for their animals and ease of operation, and people who simply embrace the rural lifestyle and the western way of life have all helped build this company. Those same folks, along with the Priefert family, will continue to ensure a bright future for Priefert Ranch Equipment.

In 1907, Thomas DeVilbiss, an inventor in his own right, experimented with adapting the original atomizer to create a spray gun to meet the challenges of spray finishing. Mass production was beginning to evolve at this time and Thomas DeVilbiss spray gun technology proved to be a revolutionary addition to the paint and lacquer coating applications on the furniture and automotive finishing assembly line. Spraying the lacquer reduced drying time to hours instead of weeks and the spraying of paint replaced hand brushing, helping to create new jobs and increase productivity in manufacturing. Since then, DeVilbiss has maintained its commitment to innovative technology. DeVilbiss team of engineers uses the same design tools used to develop NASCAR combustion systems along with NASA combustion systems for the space shuttle. Combined with our state-of-the-art manufacturing machinery, we continue to develop the most advanced spray guns the market has ever seen. DeVilbiss products are used with unequaled success in the automotive refinishing market. DeVilbiss equipment provides awesome atomization of high-solids clears that leads to glass like finishes. DeVilbiss equipment is optimized to virtually eliminate mottling and striping with metallic base coats, plus produce excellent color match. Purchased by Illinois Tool Works in 1990, DeVilbiss continues to set the standard for spray finishing through its research and development, innovative product line, and commitment to customer service.

Bullard Company is a leading manufacturer of high quality personal protective equipment and systems that are marketed worldwide. Product lines include thermal imagers, hard hats, firefighter and rescue helmets, supplied air respirators, powered air-purifying respirators, and air quality equipment. Bullard is a fourth generation family-owned enterprise whose employees are committed to excellence in every product category. The Company, headquartered in Cynthiana, Kentucky, is led by President and CEO Richard C. Miller. Mr. Miller succeeded Edward “Jed” Bullard as President/CEO in 1998 when Mr. Bullard assumed the Chair of the Company’s Board of Directors. Bullard traces its heritage back to 1898, a time of great opportunity in the western United States. Founded in San Francisco by Edward Dickinson Bullard, the Company originally supplied carbide lamps and other mining equipment to gold and copper miners in California, Nevada and Arizona. When his son, E.W. Bullard, returned from World War I, he combined his understanding of customer needs and his experience with his doughboy army helmet to design a protective headgear for miners. This “Hard Boiled” hat, introduced in 1919, represented the first of many innovative designs that have led Bullard to its prominent position in head protection for industrial and emergency response applications. During the 1930s, while the Golden Gate Bridge was being constructed in San Francisco, Bridge engineer Joseph B. Strauss contacted Bullard to request that the Company adapt its hats to protect bridge workers. Bullard not only supplied hard hats for this famous project, but its engineers also designed an original supplied air respirator for workers responsible for blasting the steelwork prior to the application of the Bridge’s International Orange paint. Bullard went on to design innovative supplied-air respiratory protection solutions for such key industries as pharmaceutical manufacturing and automotive refinishing. Following the development of the hard hat, Bullard engineers designed the Company’s first fire helmet in 1930. The Company quickly became a technology leader in this industry, developing and introducing the first fiberglass fire helmet in 1947, the first NFPA-approved thermoplastic fire helmet in 1983, and the first ratchet headband used in a fire helmet in 1986. Beginning in 1972, the Company moved its production facilities from Sausalito, California, to Cynthiana, Kentucky, to take advantage of improved transportation costs and an available workforce. Nearly two decades later in 1991, Bullard headquarters also relocated from Sausalito to Cynthiana, creating new synergies between office and manufacturing operations. Since 1994, Bullard has maintained ISO9001 certification, signifying the Company’s ongoing commitment to a rigorous quality system in its manufacturing operations. Already a recognized leader in the fire safety products market with its line of fire helmets, Bullard introduced its first thermal imager in 1998. This comprehensive product line combines the most advanced thermal imaging technology with Bullard’s expertise in high heat, impact-resistant materials to bring firefighters the most durable and reliable thermal imagers in the world. Within a few short years, Bullard Thermal Imagers have become the number one choice of firefighters around the world. The Company’s key to success is assembling the right blend of people, products and technology, and focusing these resources on customers. From the receptionist and the design engineer to the machine operator and the shipping specialist, every Bullard team member has a genuine appreciation for the customer. As a true team, we work as one to get the job done.
