They tried solid urethane tires but still had major damage issues. In 2012 they contacted a friend, Jake Hunter. that was a machinist and they worked together to build some indestructible gauge wheel tire. They have been using these tires since 2012 on their planters and to date have no damage or issues of any kind to the tires. After running these tires for several years and with no-till becoming more popular,neighbors kept asking them to build some for them, thus 4AG was formed.
