From the beginning, our philosophy of "You get more value with KB Drives" has never changed. Our goal was to give our customers more benefits, better reliability, at lower prices. Although KB originally catered to OEMs (we still maintain a strong position in that marketplace), the early 1980s brought about the beginning of our distribution network. Our broad-based product line has gained worldwide acceptance. These off-the-shelf standard and custom AC and DC motor speed controls marketed under our Penta-Power trade name are stocked in more than 30 countries, with over 500 distributor locations. In 1995, we relocated our corporate headquarters to a modern manufacturing facility in Coral Springs, Florida, USA. Total Quality Management (TQM) along with computerized testing and JIT/Cell Manufacturing insure consistent product quality and reduced lead times. What this means is we can make them better, deliver them faster, while keeping our competitive edge. We look forward to serving your needs for: AC Drives, DC Drives, Brushless Drives, Low Voltage Battery Controls, and AC Fan Speed Controls.

Our breakthrough technologies make meal delivery more efficient for foodservice operations, and mealtime more enjoyable for everyone. When Aladdin invented the insulated tray in 1968, the dream of keeping patient meals at the proper temperature became a reality. Even today, Aladdin insulated tray systems remain an option for traditional food service applications. In 1978 Aladdin introduced Temp-Rite® II, the first rethermalization system designed to heat meals in a refrigerated environment. In 1988, after extensive research and development, Aladdin created Temp-Rite® II Excel, a radically new conduction system that features a round-dish meal service. In 2003 Aladdin’s continued focus on listening to customers led to the development of Convect-Rite III®, an advanced Cook-Chill convection system that enabled precision rethermalization of hot foods while cold foods remained chilled, all on the same tray. Now Convect-Rite III® is the most popular cook-chill system. Aladdin revolutionized meal assembly tray lines in 1995 with our patented Heat On Demand® induction technology, and in 2004 applied this technology to the creation of Heat On Demand® On Tray™, the first meal delivery system with the heat source built into the tray. Today, Heat On Demand® offers a number of induction systems for room service applications. To answer the increasing demand for better choices in meal delivery and presentation, Aladdin has developed solutions for every foodservice application. Varied applications and requirements call for specific solutions. We’ve been the world leader in healthcare meal delivery for over 40 years, and it’s really no secret why: We listen to our customers!

In 1908, Francis Bard, the founder of Barco, developed a leak tight fluid connection that allowed rotation and angular flex of piping elements. These Self-Aligning Swivels and Ball Joints were used heavily in the railroad industry for locomotive steam piping and intercar steam heating connections. Over the next 40 years Barco developed new products allowing a greater range of motion and fluid flow: Swing Joints or Plane Swivels for single and multiplane movement for loading arms and steel mill BOF oxygen lance connections High Pressure Self-Aligning Swivels for aircraft and Rotary Unions for water and steam on continuous rotating machinery. In 1961, BARCO was purchased by Aeroquip Corporation. The Barco plant in Barrington, Illinois, remained the production facility for the existing products. New lines for Venturi Flow Measurement, Flexmaster Pipe Joints and Marmon couplings were added. Barco gained international exposure through Aerooquips world wide distribution network. Operations were centralized and a new organization was established in Redditch, England for Barco products. Marison Industries purchased BARCO products in 1988. To create a stand alone company, Lane Hoffman, President, developed a new organization to fill the voids left from Aeroquips centralized corporate structure. Mr. Hoffmans goal was to form a problem solving company, and to ensure customer satisfaction. To do this, management layers were reduced, operations were streamlined and a new marketing department was formed. Recognizing that the greatest potential for growth was in the Rotary Union and Swivel Joint business, other product lines were discontinued or sold. In 1995, a new facility was built in Cary, Illinois, to house corporate headquarters and manufacturing. From this modern facility Barco designs and manufactures the highest quality rotary unions and swivel joints. Barco Europe expanded operations in 1998 establishing a new sales office in Hamburg, Germany. Through continuous improvement, unique new designs are built to customers requirements. Barcos mission statement is "Innovative Solutions Growing With Tomorrows Technology."
