Today, a passion for engineering, high performance and innovation is still the motivating force behind the Company and all its staff. It is in this context that LDSA has developed and has become a manufacturer of complete digitally controlled systems with up to 9 simultaneous axes. It is widely recognised in its field and is present in all business sectors. Partnership with companies recognized as leaders in the manufacturing of machine tools makes it possible for LDSA to develop common agendas with them, thus facilitating a better quality/price ratio for its present and future customers. How water jet technology works A concentrated, fine, extremely powerful jet. Water is compressed by means of a specialised pump which can create a pressure of more than 4,100 bars, and then, as the water passes through a tube provided with an extremely small and accurately calibred hole, the water is accelerated until it reaches 2 or 3 times the speed of sound. The energy stored by the water molecules can be used to cut almost any material. Using additives such as polymers or abrasives makes it possible to cut up to 300 mm for soft materials, 200 mm for hard materials, and 100 mm for extremely hard materials. Benefits of water jet technology Low water use Cheap materials Optimal savings and profitability Optimisation of wastage and raw materials Precision cutting and outstanding cleanliness Multi-head cutting increases productivity Any materials can be cut, including mixed materials Cold cutting does not effect the molecular structure of the material being cut

Continuously improving the process from conception to production, TD was one of the first manufacturers of telecom modules to offer its products in Socket Modem™ format. As a real pioneer in terms of industrial flexibility and modularity of the telecoms function, TD is increasingly chosen as the telecom partner by the largest manufacturers of payment terminals (POS), franking machines, digital decoders (STB), alarms devices, lottery terminals, vending machines... In 2005, TD reinforced its pioneering identity by launching its XTRACT™ technology, the ultimate step towards maximum telecommunications flexibility. Xtract™ will bring to all TD customers the essential competitive advantage of « last minute customisation » and will allow them to win all the business which depends upon fast response, competitive pricing and at the right time will be a decisive advantage! “time to deploy / time to market”! By rendering the terminal totally independent from the telecommunications module, Xtract™ technology eliminates all the upstream costs (development expenses, certification cost, stocking cost, rework cost for re-customizing the terminal according to the end customers request) and considerably reduces all the downstream costs (support, service, and evolution of the installed base).
