Operating to an independently assessed and approved IS09001 – 2000 quality assurance system, J+J either supply actuators only for fitting by their clients, supply mount & test their actuators to valves free issued by clients, or supply a complete valve and actuator package- assembled and bench function tested. With careful attention to product selection, all valves supplied are CE marked in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive where required, deliveries are prompt as the valves and actuators are IS05211 compliant which generally permits direct mounting of the actuators. In cases where a mounting kit is needed to connect valve and actuator, most kits are machined and manufactured in-house using stainless steel components, reducing lead time compared to sourcing these parts from specialist mounting kit sub-contractors. Where practical, all valve packages are built and tested in-house thereby retaining control of lead times and most importantly, quality. Technical expertise comes from decades of experience both in the practical environment of marine engineering and technical representation for national distributors in the valve industry. J+J have built a solid reputation for providing the right product for the application, on time, at a competitive price.

Founded in 1874 by Joseph Watts, Watts Regulator Company made its reputation by “Setting The Standard in Valve Technology.” During its early days, Watts manufactured pressure reducing valves to regulate steam and relief valves to ensure safe operation of water heaters and boilers. In the 1900’s, Watts introduced the revolutionary combination temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve, a protection device for use on hot water supply tank systems. These T&P valves prevented dangerous hot water heater explosions and continue to be an integral part of today’s water heating systems. In the 1970’s, Watts was instrumental in the promotion of backflow prevention devices to prevent the backward flow of contaminated water from entering into the potable water supply. Watts continues to lead the backflow prevention market today. Today, Watts Regulator is part of the Watts Water Technologies family with operations in North America, Europe and Asia. Watts designs, manufactures and sells an extensive line of flow control products for the water quality, residential plumbing & heating, commercial and OEM markets.

An initiative by the founder of the company responding to problems experienced and reported in aerospace industry led to the development of the CCS DUAL-SNAP disc-spring operating system. Hitherto, conventional technology was unreliable and erratic, tracing pumping variables and irregularities and every shock and vibration in the system being sensed and switching prematurely with set-point drift reduced cycle life. ["Trace Switches"]. So successful was the CCS DUAL-SNAP negative rate disc-spring principle that it was widely adopted by the military and aerospace industries meeting their rigorous specifications and high quality expectations in these most technologically advanced and demanding of applications. The same proven features and benefits and cost effective competitiveness are maintained in the CCS DUAL-SNAP industrial product range. As a world leader in this innovative technology our product is used internationally by the following industries Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Power generating, Pulp and Paper, Hydraulic, Utilities, Transportation systems, Machinery and Machine tools. For industrial hazardous area use product is certified by the following approved authorities Underwriters laboratories, Canadian Standards Association, BASEEFA, CENELEC and ATEX. The company is quality audited to ISO 9002 by the Electrical Equipment Certification Service, United Kingdom and is fully committed to continual development of its products, manufacturing processes and materials to maintain the highest quality and reliability of the finished product.

Back in the early 70s, the music touring business was just beginning - and the transportable mixing desk quickly became popular among the bands and the new PA companies that were springing up to rent out sound equipment. From what was then a small company in central London, Soundcraft expanded and started to diversify. The company designed a mixer for recording - the Series 2 - and began to build a reputation for great-sounding desks, which is often referred to as the favoured British Sound. Design and innovation has always been one of Soundcrafts major strengths. Over the years it has introduced a number of industry-favoured consoles such as the Series 4, 2400, TS24, 8000, 200B, 6000, Delta, SAC200 and the Spirit Folio range, and more recently the Series FIVE, Broadway, GB Series, MH series, Vi Series and the Si Series. Today Soundcraft has a network of over 100 distributors selling and supporting its products world-wide. Part of the Harman Pro Group, Soundcraft is still very much the dedicated professional mixing console designer and manufacturer it was back in 1973. It now boasts a range of mixers which are designed for use in live sound, recording, post-production, TV and radio production and disco applications. Harman is an international company which comprises a group of dedicated manufacturers of audio equipment spanning professional audio, in-car systems, multimedia and hi-fi consumer products. Soundcraft is part of the Professional area of Harman and has many sister companies.
