Like most skilled plumbers, George Hubbard was concerned with two things on the job: maximizing quality and minimizing labor. In 1981, George headed into his workshop to solve a problem that had long frustrated seasoned plumbers like him. He struck upon a simple, efficient and elegant design for a flat copper bracket. The time intensive process of cutting blocks of wood as a makeshift solution for pipe supports came to an abrupt end with the creation of the HOLDRITE?/sup> #101-18 pipe support bracket. The last twenty five years have seen HUBBARD ENTERPRISES evolve from a single product family business to an international corporation and acknowledged industry leader in pipe support systems. From its headquarters in Vista, California, a dedicated and skilled staff continues to innovate, support, and produce quality products in the time-honored "family-oriented" tradition of HUBBARD ENTERPRISES. More than thirty manufacturing representatives service over 3,000 distributors throughout all fifty states, as well as numerous international locations. The newly introduced HOLDRITE?/sup> STOUT BRACKETTM continues in the companys tradition of developing diverse and innovative product lines - HOLDRITE?/sup>, LOCKRITETM, PEXRITE?/sup>, QUICK STRAP?/sup>, QUICK STANDTM, and the HOLDRITE?/sup> SILENCERTM SYSTEM names are familiar to and trusted by plumbers the world over. Through each stage of development, HUBBARD ENTERPRISES has never lost sight of George Hubbards original dedication to making the plumbers life easier. Excellent customer service and 100% satisfaction, orders shipped within twenty-four hours, and creating the finest quality product "remains HUBBARD ENTERPRISES first order of business". These are just a few examples of the philosophy that continues to define and guide HUBBARD ENTERPRISES concept of "designed by plumbers, for plumbers

During the early 1980’s the company began to support its commissioned sales activities by distributing related products and on a limited basis started to manufacture thermocouple and cable. In 1982, PMC acquired the assets of Monadnock Wire and Cable and changed its focus to that of a manufacturer of the products it sold. By 1984 the company had become a full line manufacturer of thermocouple wire and cable and moved its company into a facility located in Londonderry, NH. In October of 1985, PMC acquired the assets of the Albert H. Surprenant Company. This transaction broadened the scope of the company’s product line to include certain electronic wire and cable items. In September of 1991, PMC expanded its operations to the west coast when it acquired Thermocouple Design Company of Pomona, CA. This acquisition further broadened the company’s product offering by adding thermocouples, RTD’s and related accessories to its temperature measurement product line. Additionally this afforded PMC the opportunity to set up a distribution center to support west coast customers. In June of 1992, the west coast operation was moved to Anaheim, CA. In August 1996, PMC purchased a 100,000 sq. ft. building located in Manchester, NH. Extensive renovations were required to transform the building into its current condition. PMC moved both Londonderry operations into this building in April 1997 upon completion of the renovations. In 1999, Rockbestos-Surprenant Cable Corporation acquired the assets of PMC Corporation. Today PMC operates as a division of Rockbestos-Surprenant Cable Corporation. This broad range of company products has led to significant experience in providing service to industries requiring wire and cable for demanding applications. Their cables successfully perform on the ground, on the sea, in the air and space. They are installed in cable trays in paper mills utilized along the frozen Alaskan tundra suspended on offshore oil platforms pulled through conduit in railroad tunnels and transit systems installed to the intense heat of both the steel and glass making industries operate in aircraft, spacecraft, and mining machines and have even traveled to the moon. Reliable performance in the most demanding environments is our trademark. The Marmon Group, an international association of more than 60 autonomous manufacturing and service companies with sales of more than $6 billion, includes several companies that manufacture and market wire and cable. Together, those companies sell more than $700 million in wire and cable. Since 1994, three companies have been acquired, including Harbour Industries, Inc. (1994). Hendrix Wire & Cable, Inc. (1996) and Surprenant Cable Corp. (1996), strengthening significantly The Marmon Group’s presence in the wire and cable industry.

These interfering sources can include self-interference due to collocation of transmitters and receivers (known as cosite interference), intentional jammers, broadband noise, spectral splatter and spurious transmit signals, rusty bolt effects or any number of other sources. Our approach to business and our ability to cost effectively solve the most difficult interference problems has made us one of the fastest growing companies in our field. The company was founded in 1989 with the belief that the military and commercial RF markets were changing. Although military budgets were shrinking, the role and the requirements of the military were not. In fact, one might argue that the role of the conventional military would be expanding with the global police force and peacekeeping pressures that were being applied. At the same time, real battlefield situations demonstrated that commercial equipment could provide the sophistication and reliability required in a military environment. Using state-of-the-art technology, we focused on the technological advances of the last couple of decades and applied them to solid-state tunable filters. The result was a leap forward in miniaturization and standardization, permitting a totally self-contained single structure with improved production capability and reduced cost. In addition to these filters, we have developed other building blocks such as low noise amplifiers, cosite power amplifiers, solid state switches, mixers and synthesizers that now make up a catalog of "Off-The-Shelf" building blocks. These building block modules are available to the industry as stand alone modules, and they also form the basis of the systems we supply. These products share a common attribute in the support of very high dynamic range communications. In 1994 Pole/Zero branched into the Integrated Cosite Equipment (ICE) business with the development of both an airborne and shipboard filter/amplifier cascade product. ICE integrates elements of our standard product line to achieve enhanced performance beyond that achievable with our basic products. Both of these ICE units are still in production. Additionally, Pole/Zero has significantly expanded the breadth of ICE products, providing our customers the ability to select optimal cost-effective solutions for their interference mitigation needs. Many of our products are purchased as Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) solutions, while other customers require modification to the existing products to meet their needs. In both cases, Pole/Zero provides low risk, cost-effective solutions. Our products can be found in the harshest RF environments on C4ISR (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) platforms and in less demanding applications in tactical radios. Today, Pole/Zero is delivering hardware to customers around the world for a variety of applications. Our equipment is flying on airborne command posts and jet fighters for the military, and is fielded in both ground fixed and ground mobile systems. The same hardware is being used in commercial applications from radio telescopes to wireless office communications, and from industrial inspection equipment to MRI machines. Applications for our filters range from stand-alone units in a test environment to units embedded in the design of high performance communication equipment. As we continue to grow in number of employees and yearly sales, we have maintained our focus on supplying readily available digitally tuned frequency hopping filter modules and components with wide dynamic range performance to provide new flexibility to the RF system designer. Additionally, Pole/Zero has increased its focus on providing quality products to our customers by instituting the following quality policy:“Pole/Zero is dedicated to providing defect free products on time to internal and external customers.”
