We own and operate the following mines and metallurgical complexes: Four Open-Pit Copper Mines - Cuajone and Toquepala, located in southern Peru, produced 349,011 tons of copper in 2008 (152,946 tons at Cuajone and 196,065 tons at Toquepala). - Cananea, located in northern Mexico, produced 15,605 tons of copper in 2008. It is among the worlds largest copper mines in terms of reserves, and has the longest remaining mine life of any major open-pit copper mine in the world, based on current production levels. - La Caridad, located in northern Mexico, produced 118,893 tons of copper in 2008.
