Dexin Steel Tube (China) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Dexin) was established in August 2002. It initially produced seamless steel pipes using medium-frequency hot expansion and internal boring + external turning methods. Since 2014, it has been producing high-precision seamless steel pipes for gas cylinders using cold drawing processes. Since 2017, while procuring hot-rolled steel pipes, it has utilized the production capacity of Tianhuai Steel Pipe's 508 continuous rolling mill and Wuhan Heavy Industry's 864 rolling mill to entrust billet processing, with the current annual processing volume reaching 150,000 tons. For pipes that cannot be rolled, are uneconomical, or inconvenient to produce — especially large-diameter thin-walled and ultra-thin-walled seamless steel pipes with diameters greater than 508mm and diameter-to-wall ratios greater than 25 — it uses medium-frequency hot expansion processes. Dexin currently has nine medium-frequency hot expansion production lines, capable of producing various standard, material, and specification seamless steel pipes with diameters below 1250mm, diameter-to-wall ratios up to 100, and lengths over 12 meters. The annual production capacity of hot-expanded steel pipes can reach 100,000 tons. Dexin has seven cold drawing production lines, capable of producing 60,000 tons of precision seamless steel pipes with diameters from Φ16.7 to 914mm, as well as five large lathes and deep hole boring machines, which can cold-process various high-precision large-diameter thick-walled seamless steel pipes. Dexin has become a leading seamless steel pipe manufacturer in China capable of producing both large and small diameters, with complete hot-rolled, cold-drawn, and hot-expansion processes.
Dexin is particularly strong in its powerful pipe finishing and heat treatment capabilities. It has six heat treatment furnaces (three box-type furnaces and three roller-hearth furnaces), capable of performing normalizing, tempering, annealing, and quenching on steel pipes of various diameters below Φ2400mm. It has three multi-roll straightening machines and four point straightening machines, seven internal and external polishing machines, sixteen internal and external grinding machines, phosphating, saponification, pipe end processing, UV water-based spraying, and other production equipment, as well as complete supporting physical and chemical analysis, mechanical performance, non-destructive testing, and hydrostatic testing equipment.
Dexin orders high-quality carbon steel, carbon-manganese steel, and chromium-molybdenum steel billets produced using the LD+LF+RH/VD+CCM process, effectively controlling C, P, S, and N, H, O gas content as well as the five harmful elements, ensuring the quality of steel pipes from the source while meeting the length and delivery requirements of finished pipes. It maintains year-round inventory of Φ380, Φ450, Φ500, Φ600 billets of various materials, and produces hot-rolled steel pipes of Φ273~Φ508 or larger diameters upon order. Leveraging Dexin's hot expansion, cold drawing, heat treatment, and finishing capabilities, it can flexibly and efficiently organize production to meet users' requirements for various specifications, quantities, and high-strength pipes, SSC-resistant pipes, HIC-resistant pipes, low-temperature pipes, line pipes, gas cylinder pipes, American standard pipes, and medium-low pressure pipeline materials, achieving the goal of "rapid delivery within 30 days" for urgent materials.
Dexin has successively obtained A1, A2(1), (3), B(1), (3) special equipment manufacturing licenses (pressure piping component manufacturing licenses) issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation, as well as type test reports for various materials, standards, and specifications.
