To prevent and repair malfunction before the start of production, all devices are being tested regarding their temperature resistency in our fully automatic climate laboratory, using test cycles of -10°C to +70°. The system is adapted for pre-measurements in the range of malfunction emission according to the norms EN 55011 and EN 55022. The metallic walls, the floor and the ceiling in the shielded room are ferrite absorber-lined. The ferrite absorbers have an almost constant attenuation process within 30-1000 MHz. A 2-ladder-250V-artificial mains networrk is applied to measure the radiointerference clamping in the mains. The artificial network works in the frequency range of 9kHz to 30 MHz. The EMI testing system contains a computer-controlled test receiver, that works in the frequency range f 9 kHz to 1 GHz. Due to the applied software, measurements can be made automatically . An informative test report can be issued after every measurement.
