Subject Description : The contracting authority (Maynooth University) is establishing a new energy services company for the RENEW project, aiming to enable households to respond intelligently to real-time electricity system conditions. This project requires the development of relevant software and consulting services by combining smart meter data, wholesale price signals, and digital automation technologies, enabling consumers and communities to shift electricity usage away from peak periods, thereby reducing costs, alleviating system pressure, and improving the integration of renewable energy. This approach aims to align consumer behavior with grid demand, support energy affordability, and contribute to building a more flexible, resilient, and decarbonized electricity system for Ireland.

Core Project Objective : Through software solutions and consulting services, achieve intelligent scheduling of residential electricity load, optimize grid operational efficiency, and promote renewable energy consumption.

Scope of Services : Covers software consulting, system development, internet technical support, and R&D and related consulting services for renewable energy projects. Specific services may include but are not limited to: requirements analysis, system architecture design, software prototype development, intelligent algorithm model construction, data integration and analysis, system testing and deployment, technical support and maintenance, and project-related consulting and research services.

Expected Deliverables : A software system or platform capable of integrating smart meter data and wholesale electricity price signals, and guiding household users to optimize their electricity consumption behavior through digital automation technologies.
