Recently, the targeted foaming grouting water plugging technology independently developed and innovated by the Engineering Innovation Research Institute of China Construction Fifth Engineering Bureau was successfully applied in the hidden danger comprehensive treatment project of the Zhengzhou "7401 Project" of the Civil Engineering Company. The whole process took only 3 hours, and the overall water leakage was reduced from 60m³/h to 10m³/h, ensuring the subsequent vault concrete filling construction, saving more than 7 days of construction period, and receiving unanimous recognition from all parties involved in the project.
The innovative geological polymer grouting material is adopted, with foaming controlled within 5~30s, rapidly filling cavities and gaps, and reaching the best performance of the material within 15 minutes. It has obvious hydrophobic characteristics, adapts to temperatures from -20℃ to 100℃, and the material has no shrinkage or cracking after foaming.

Through the targeted grouting process, the water leakage source and water flow channel are accurately located, the grouting scheme is quickly formulated, the leakage points are sealed, and efficient and rapid grouting water plugging is realized, with no recurrence of leakage.
The material and process work synergistically, with dynamic matching of foaming speed and grouting pressure, realizing full diffusion of the slurry in the cracks and rapid solidification, ensuring no recurrence of leakage.
The new technology can be widely applied in building and infrastructure projects to solve diseases or problems such as foundation and road subgrade settlement lifting, pipe network subsidence repair, and deformation control of adjacent projects. It has less interference, high efficiency, and meets the skylight period requirements of operating projects.
