On April 11, the 5-meter diameter composite power compartment developed by the First Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation was officially released. This is the largest composite integrated cabin section for reusable launch vehicles in China's aerospace field, and its successful development marks a significant breakthrough in China's large-size aerospace composite structure manufacturing technology.

The composite material usage in this power compartment exceeds 60%, and the wall panels can achieve lightweight structures capable of withstanding thousand-ton axial compressive loads, while also featuring self-adaptive adjustment interfaces. During the development of the power compartment structure, the research team adopted a highly parallel collaborative concept, overcoming challenges such as high-precision and high-quality manufacturing of new large-size composite integrated structures, as well as complex technical state management under highly parallel collaborative modes. The first product completed the journey from conceptual design to product delivery in just 7 months.
