On July 26, the TP200 large multi-functional long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle, independently developed by Yitong UAV, successfully completed its maiden flight. During the flight, the aircraft maintained stable and controllable flight attitudes, with climb altitude and cruise speed meeting all design specifications.

The TP200 is China's first ton-class multi-functional long-endurance civilian UAV developed in compliance with airworthiness requirements. Specifically designed for long-endurance high-altitude operations, it features a high aspect ratio shoulder-wing layout, achieving a full-load endurance of over 24 hours. Unlike traditional single-function UAVs, the TP200 incorporates flexible multi-mission payload adaptability in its design, adopting a modular one-aircraft multi-configuration approach that allows rapid mission mode switching based on tasks. This effectively addresses industry pain points such as low equipment reuse rates, poor device interoperability, and high procurement and maintenance costs, significantly promoting the transition of large unmanned aerial vehicles from specialized applications to large-scale adoption in government and civilian markets.

Leveraging its advantages in high payload, long endurance, and scalable platform, the TP200 can undertake diverse low-altitude operational tasks: for the marine economy, it can perform long-distance maritime patrols, near-shore search and rescue, and routine coastline surveillance; for disaster prevention and mitigation, it can conduct weather modification, meteorological detection, and drought relief rain enhancement operations; in emergency government affairs, it can precisely deliver emergency relief supplies to remote mountainous areas and islands; it comprehensively covers forest and grassland fire patrol, land surveying, ecological forestry and grassland monitoring, and other government and livelihood scenarios, establishing an all-weather, wide-coverage low-altitude operational support network.
