Recently, it was learned fromHuabei Petroleum Rongsheng Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Huabei Rongsheng) that theindependently developedsubsea wellhead reconstruction equipment has passed acceptance at the CNOOC emergency rescue base in Chengmai County, Hainan Province, making China the only country around the South China Sea with independent deepwater oil and gas development emergency rescue capabilities. This marks a new milestone in China's independent capabilities in the field of marine well control equipment, advancing the domestic substitution process of high-end marine well control equipment and achieving self-reliance and controllability of key components.

The subsea wellhead reconstruction equipment includes 24 units such as the subsea emergency well capping device, subsea accumulator bank, hydraulic power unit and mixing system, pressure testing unit, and high-pressure nitrogen generation system. The total weight of the entire system is approximately 300 tons, of which the subsea emergency well capping device main unit weighs 137 tons, with a working water depth of 3,000 meters and a rated working pressure of 103.5 MPa. The equipment's domestic localization rate exceeds 98%, and it has obtained CCS certification from the China Classification Society. The equipment has overcome more than 20 key technologies and obtained 6 patent authorizations. The overall structure adopts a modular design for convenient transportation and rapid assembly, overcoming limitations in use, maintenance, transportation, and installation on drilling platforms or vessels.

It is reported that the "three firsts" breakthrough achievements demonstrate technological advancement. First, the successful development ofChina's first scientific research prototype of the subsea emergency well capping device with engineering application capability has achieved self-reliance and controllability of core equipment. Second, the independently developed and first-ever applied subsea transfer lifting tool suitable for deepwater operating environments has filled the domestic gap in the manufacturing and application of such rigging equipment. Third, the key component subsea throttle valve has achieved domestic localization for the first time, breaking through the bottleneck of import dependence.
