385 kilometers per hour — the Huainan–Fuyang High-Speed Railway has reached its maximum test speed during integrated commissioning and testing!
On September 3, based on previous step-by-step speed increase tests, the Huainan–Fuyang High-Speed Railway conducted a maximum test speed level trial for a single EMU train. The comprehensive inspection train successfully reached the target test speed of 385 km/h, achieving a phased milestone in the integrated commissioning and testing process.
Step-by-step speed increase testing is a critical phase of high-speed railway integrated commissioning and testing. According to the test outline requirements, it is conducted in two stages: step-by-step speed increase testing for a single EMU train and for coupled EMU trains. During the single EMU train stage, the comprehensive inspection train gradually increases its test speed until reaching 110% of the line's design speed. The single EMU train step-by-step speed increase test for the Huainan–Fuyang High-Speed Railway was carried out in 16 levels, from 180 km/h to 385 km/h, conducting comprehensive testing, adjustment, and verification of the functions, performance, status, and inter-system compatibility of relevant systems.
According to the plan, the single EMU train step-by-step speed increase tests for the Huainan–Fuyang High-Speed Railway will continue, followed by coupled EMU train step-by-step speed increase tests and signal system testing, laying the foundation for full-line integration and trial operation.
The Huainan–Fuyang High-Speed Railway starts from Fuyang West Station, a shared station on the Shangqiu–Hefei section of the Beijing–Hong Kong High-Speed Railway and the Zhengzhou–Fuyang High-Speed Railway, runs eastward through Lixin County and Mengcheng County in Bozhou City, and ends at the Shuangduiji Station on the Huainan–Bengbu High-Speed Railway. It utilizes the Huainan–Bengbu High-Speed Railway toward the Huaibei direction and includes a connecting line to the Bengbu direction of the Huainan–Bengbu High-Speed Railway. The newly built main line has a total length of approximately 142.5 kilometers. The line has four stations: Mengcheng, Lixin, Yingquan North, and Fuyang West, of which Fuyang West Station is an expansion of an existing station, while the others are newly built stations.
Once completed and operational, the Huainan–Fuyang High-Speed Railway will end the history of no high-speed rail service in Mengcheng County and Lixin County. It is of great significance for improving the regional railway network layout, promoting the development of the industrial transfer cluster area in northern Anhui, driving the revitalization and development of northern Anhui, and better supporting national strategies such as the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta and the rise of the central region.
