V-type ball valve

V-type ball valve is a special type of ball valve with a V-shaped opening on the ball's cavity. The V-shaped opening has sharp edges that create a shearing effect between the ball and the seat as the ball rotates, providing a strong cutting force on the medium. It combines both shut-off and regulation functions. Its sealing performance is similar to that of a standard ball valve. The V-shaped opening on the ball and the valve seat form a fan-shaped area, which changes the flow passage's cross-sectional area during rotation, allowing precise control of the medium. This type of valve is an angular rotary control valve and is widely used in industrial process control systems, paired with pneumatic or electric actuators.
