There are various applications involving the ELS (also well-known as a photo cell) in which individual or dual light curtain systems are utilised. Dual light curtain systems are often installed to ensure the safety of automatic doors. The evaluation unit of an ELS system can optimally analyse one or two light beams.Using the latest technology, CEDES guarantees the reliability of the ELS 268 and ELS 269 for the entire service life of a system.
