It involves the use of a twin or split transfer plate, consisting of two independent sections which when closed, receive the pallet layer and then separate to place the layer onto the pallet. Advantages include: - Irregular layer formats are more easily handled - Higher performance - The format can be set to match the edge of the pallet - Less stripper plate movement reduces the chance of disturbing the layer formation The system can also be supplied with automatically adjusted spacer and pusher plates to create internal gaps in the pallet layer where required. This latest system is offered in our P 310 series of high level entry Palletisers which now can offer higher performance combined with improved pallet build quality and product handling.
