These cylinder luffing cranes are easier to install on board. Low Profile Cranes provide improved stability, particularly for small container ships. This crane technology allows cranes of a lower height to be located on the same foundation as our wire luffing cranes. In addition, two kinds of wire luffing cranes are available. Thin Cranes work with all winches (Hoisting, Luffing, or Slewing) inside the housing. The Semi-Thin Cranes, with external Hoisting/Luffing winches, make it possible to keep the housing continuously clean. This technology reduces the crane height, facilitating the way under the harbor gantry cranes. These cranes are available either electrically or hydraulically driven.
