Carbon capture and utilization technology

CO2 capture technology is a new generation of post-combustion CO2 capture technology successfully developed by Shanghai Electric and Tsinghua University with the support of the "863" key project of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission over a period of more than ten years. The technology has been verified by laboratory pilot tests, 2,000 tons/year pilot tests, and 10,000 tons/year industrial demonstration operations. The regeneration energy consumption is as low as 2.3GJ/ton CO2, reaching the leading level in China.
