Product Introduction

This project involves the installation of over 1,000 panel meters, more than 130 data loggers and RTUs for data collection and storage, over 50 multi-circuit monitors for data center applications, and more than 60 PQ meters for monitoring power quality on the main feeders. To facilitate efficient monitoring of such a large system, we have set up 30 servers, including one Main Server and 29 Local Servers. Each Local Server manages data from local metering points for monitoring and control, while the Main Server retrieves data from each Local Server for global monitoring and reporting.

Due to the significant amount of data and alarm signals involved in operations, it is essential to predefine flowcharts for alarm signals and metering data. Network architecture, data flow analysis, and redundancy planning are also key concerns. In addition to using over 1,000 meters, PecStar iEMSO (Integrated Energy Management System) serves as the core software of this system. It offers the following features:

  • Distributed, modular, layered, and client-server architecture, making it suitable for applications of various scales and complexities. The system is stable enough to handle a large volume of data.
  • Automatic data collection, monitoring, processing, and storage for analog, digital, and structured parameters, helping to build a flexible and scalable network architecture with excellent data analysis and redundancy capabilities.
  • System configuration and client application modules (including PecDraw, PecView, PecReport, and PecEvent) provide a more efficient way to define the flowcharts for both types of alarm signals in advance.
