Metal-faced sandwich panels are exterior insulation panels made with rock wool as the core material. Typically, large rock wool boards with dimensions of 2400mm in length, 1200mm in width, and a thickness of 100 to 150mm are processed in the factory using automated equipment to cut them into rock wool strips, which are then combined with metal facings to form a complete unit for exterior wall insulation. This method allows for factory processing, eliminating the previous need for on-site assembly of rock wool panels. Metal-faced sandwich panels fully utilize the unique properties of rock wool as a core material, meeting the requirements for thermal insulation, sound insulation, and fire resistance in buildings while achieving high quality, efficiency, reliability, and safety.
