The tubular oil pump features a robust structure and a simple design. It is typically connected directly to the bottom of the underground tubing by the oil pipe coupling, based on the designed pump hanging depth.

The tubular oil pump consists of the pump cylinder assembly, plunger assembly, fixed valve assembly, fixed valve fixing device, and fixed valve retrieval device.

Advantages:

1. In any specification of oil pipe, the pump diameter of the tubular pump is only 6.35 mm (1/4 in) smaller than the nominal inner diameter of the oil pipe. Therefore, the tubular pump can provide the largest possible displacement. In situations where a high displacement is required, the tubular pump should be chosen.
2. The tubular pump is the most durable type among all pump types. The thick-walled pump cylinder connects directly to the bottom of the oil pipe column via the coupling, eliminating the need for a supporting assembly to position the oil pump. Similarly, the sucker rod column connects directly to the upper valve cover of the plunger assembly, thus avoiding the use of a valve rod found in fixed cylinder rod pumps.
3. The fixed valve assembly can be retrieved, replaced or repaired without moving the pipe column. It also allows for injection operations without moving the column plunger.
