The THICSsys intelligent remote control system for roadheaders integrates various monitoring technologies and methods such as machine vision, inertial navigation, motion control, intelligent perception, and precise positioning. It features functional modules including all-directional parameter intelligent perception, condition monitoring and fault diagnosis, autonomous navigation and correction, automatic cutting and remote control, one-key start-stop control for the entire process, and multi-system integrated coordination. This system realizes high-precision orientation, position and posture adjustment, adaptive cutting, and visualization of the heading environment for roadheaders. It possesses the capability of autonomous decision-making control for groups of equipment in underground tunneling operations, forming an intelligent tunneling operation system with efficient coordination of excavation, support, anchoring, and transportation at the heading face, one-key start-stop, automatic excavation, autonomous decision-making, and intelligent control. Efforts are focused on constructing a digital and virtualized transparent working face, creating a new type of over-the-horizon intelligent remote control working mode featuring "digital twin for position and posture monitoring, video surveillance assisted operations, and edge computing for intelligent planning."

①Intelligent Control: A combination navigation and positioning solution, featuring functions such as parameter settings for the roadheader/bolter roadheader, remote control, one-click start/stop, autonomous navigation, automatic cutting, and process linkage.

②Digital Twin and AR-Assisted Operation: 3D modeling of the tunnel and roadheader/bolter roadheader, with virtual-real integration and multi-angle monitoring of the position and cutting state of the roadheader/bolter roadheader, offering intelligent assistance for tunneling operations.

③High-Speed Network Communication: The remote operation platform and roadheader/bolter roadheader use a combination of wireless communication and wired fiber-optic communication, with a control distance of no less than 2000 meters.
