Iberdrola Obtains Production Licence for 274 MW Wind Farm in Portugal

Wedoany.com Report-Dec 10,Iberdrola has received a production licence from the Portuguese Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG) for a 274 MW wind farm located in the districts of Vila Real and Braga in northern Portugal.

The order for the wind turbines has been awarded to Vestas and will include the installation of 38 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 7.2 MW and a hub height of 114 metres. Construction of the wind farm will begin in 2025.
