USDA Awards Reap Grant to Kansas Biogas Project

Wedoany.com Report-Jan 14, The USDA awarded $120 million in grants to 516 projects under the Rural Energy for America Program. One of those awards will support a biogas project under development by High Plains Ag Energy LLC in Kansas.
High Plains Ag Energy was awarded a $1 million REAP grant to support the construction of an anaerobic digester in Scott County, Kansas. The anaerobic digester is expected to produce an estimated 60,548 MMBTU of renewable natural gas (RNG) per year.
