en.Wedoany.com Reported - On June 13, iFlytek unveiled the Spark Multimodal Large Model X2-VL at the 2026 Yangtze River Delta Robotics and Automation Exhibition & Wuxi Embodied Intelligent Robot Industry Chain Partner Conference.

Sun Dongping, Vice President of iFlytek and General Manager of the Jiangsu Region, stated that this model is currently the only mainstream large model trained entirely on domestic computing power, adopting a proprietary MoE architecture. The Spark Multimodal Large Model X2-VL is accelerated based on the local computing platform Taihu Xingyue in Wuxi. iFlytek has established a subsidiary in the Wuxi High-tech Zone, which will be specifically responsible for the daily operations of this multimodal large model in the future.

Test data released at the event showed that when faced with high school exam questions combining text and images across various subjects, the Spark X2-VL achieved an accuracy rate close to 95%. In a test graded by two national-level special-grade math teachers, the large model scored 148 points on the 2026 Gaokao Mathematics National Volume I. Specifically, iFlytek Spark achieved full marks of 40, 18, and 15 points in single-choice, multiple-choice, and fill-in-the-blank questions respectively, and scored 75 points in the problem-solving section, for a total of 148 points.
