en.Wedoany.com Reported - John Deere has launched the new 5E three-cylinder tractors, the first models to offer an electronically controlled eHydro transmission on its utility tractors.
The 5E series models range from 50 to 100 horsepower and can be configured based on operational needs, offering six John Deere PowerTech engine options. These models do not require diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) or diesel particulate filters (DPF), and the company states that automatic regeneration allows operators to work without interruptions. Models and options—including open operator station, standard cab, or deluxe cab options, as well as SyncShuttle, PowrReverser, or eHydro transmissions—are listed in Deere's chart below:

"The new 5E three-cylinder tractors are designed to make any task intuitive and easy, whether you are an experienced operator or a first-time driver," said Mark Davey, marketing manager for John Deere's 5 Series tractor product line. "By shortening the learning curve, our customers can get to work faster and operate with greater confidence and efficiency."
The eHydro transmission is available on the 5060E, 5067E, and 5075E models and includes several features aimed at simplifying operation and improving efficiency. The TwinTouch pedals enable simpler and more comfortable forward and reverse control; automotive-style cruise control maintains a constant speed regardless of terrain; SpeedMatch maintains the desired maximum travel speed; LoadMatch prevents the tractor from stalling in heavy-load applications; MotionMatch adjusts acceleration and deceleration response; and speed management ensures controlled operation and safety among operators. Davey stated that the eHydro transmission integrates multiple intelligent features, making the tractor more intuitive and efficient, thereby increasing productivity and reducing operator fatigue.
Deere says the new 5E three-cylinder tractors are built for durability, comfort, and ease of operation. Three cab options are available: the open operator station offers more legroom, durable seating, easily accessible controls, and halogen lights; the standard cab is a climate-controlled cab isolated from the tractor to reduce noise and vibration, and includes LED headlights, a rear window that opens up to 70 degrees, an optional rotating air suspension seat, and an improved fuel tank position for better visibility; the deluxe cab features a rotating air suspension seat for better visibility and comfort during loader or rear implement operations, a sunroof with a sunshade for increased overhead visibility, and LED lighting. Other updates include: home lighting that extends exterior lighting for safe departure in low-light conditions; improved electrical connections to reduce contamination in wiring connections and harnesses; and a new, smaller steering wheel for enhanced comfort.
All 5E models come standard with a Category 2 rear hitch and are equipped with an independent PTO, allowing separate control of the tractor and PTO. Two rear SCVs are standard, with an optional third rear SCV, enabling operators to connect larger loaders and implements for high-productivity operations. The three-point hitch makes tillage and rotary cutting easy.
