en.Wedoany.com Reported - DACL Fine Chem, a wholly owned subsidiary of Diamines and Chemicals Ltd. (Diamines and Chemicals), has signed a binding term sheet with Kakinada SEZ Ltd. to purchase approximately 50 acres of freehold industrial land in the Auro Industrial Park for the construction of a new chemical plant. Diamines and Chemicals has been the exclusive producer of ethyleneamines in the Indian subcontinent for over two decades, with the plant built entirely on indigenous research and technology, making it one of only six to eight companies globally with proprietary ethyleneamine production technology.

The term sheet was signed on June 29, 2026, and is valid until June 30, 2027, with the final agreement to be negotiated and signed separately. The land payment will be made in two installments: the first of Rs 280 million and the second of Rs 120 million (subject to final measurement), excluding stamp duty and registration fees.

With subsequent additions to the facility, the company has introduced two new products—anhydrous piperazine and piperazine solution—to its existing product range and has become one of the leading suppliers of piperazine to the pharmaceutical and natural gas desulfurization application industries. The company has also expanded its production facilities for ethyleneamine homologues to meet the needs of various end users.

Diamines and Chemicals serves a wide range of sectors in Indian manufacturing, including active pharmaceutical ingredients (quinolones, antihistamines), fungicides-insecticides, polyamide resins, natural gas desulfurization, chelating agents, textile auxiliaries, water treatment chemicals, paints and adhesives, chemical synthesis, and lubricant additives, among numerous actual users.
