The SunTera G3, encased in a standard 20-foot container, offers a rated capacity of 6.251 MWh. The system is built to perform reliably in diverse conditions, with certifications for IP55 ingress protection and C5 anti-corrosion standards. Wu Dianfeng, general manager of JinkoSolar’s storage division, emphasized the system’s focus on safety: “Safety is the bottom line in energy storage, and our core design philosophy. Unlike electric vehicles, where safety concerns often stem from collisions, storage systems are grid-connected, requiring far more stringent attention to electrical safety.” This approach underscores the company’s priority to meet rigorous safety standards for grid-integrated applications.
