en.Wedoany.com Reported - At the TM Forum DTW 2026 Global Digital Transformation Summit, two projects jointly submitted by ZTE, China Mobile, and industry partners—"Cross-Domain End-to-End Autonomous Fault Management" and "End-to-End 5G Dynamic Slice Management"—were successfully selected as TM Forum 2026 Innovation Hub Pioneer Projects (IHPP), showcasing the innovative achievements of the domestic communications industry in high-level autonomous networks and 5G industry applications.

The TM Forum Innovation Hub Pioneer Project (IHPP) is one of the most industry-referenced innovation selections in the communications field, targeting implementable innovations in real business scenarios and promoting industrial digital transformation through standardized, reusable solutions.
The Cross-Domain End-to-End Autonomous Fault Management project focuses on addressing the industry pain point of multi-domain network collaborative operations for operators, and is being advanced in phases by ZTE in collaboration with industry partners. After multiple rounds of live network verification and optimization, the project has gradually expanded collaboration scenarios, successfully establishing a fault collaborative handling chain across wireless, transmission, and power environment professional domains. Based on self-developed intelligent analysis technology, the project achieves rapid fault localization and automated closed-loop processing, simplifying operational processes and reducing the entire fault lifecycle handling time. Currently, the project has formed a standardized, replicable, and scalable full-domain autonomous operations system, providing a practical model for operators to build a stable, efficient, and low-cost next-generation network operations foundation.
The solution has been deployed on a trial basis in Guangdong and Fujian provinces, with significant results: the total number of cross-domain collaborative work orders decreased by 12%, overall fault MTTR was reduced by 19%, annual operations manpower savings reached 127 personnel, and cumulative business traffic losses caused by cross-domain faults were recovered by 1310 TB. These data validate the practical value and promotion potential of multi-agent collaboration in breaking through the bottleneck of multi-domain collaborative operations.

The End-to-End 5G Dynamic Slice Management project focuses on intelligent scheduling throughout the full lifecycle of 5G slices, building a standardized, reusable user-level slice autonomous operations system to promote 5G industry digital deployment. ZTE leads the innovation of the slice "network-side switching" technical architecture, which requires no modification to terminals or application sides. By sensing service operation status in real time on the network side, it intelligently triggers elastic scheduling of slice resources, ensuring user service experience while supporting operators in providing tiered differentiated network value-added services on demand, broadening the commercial application paths of 5G in diverse scenarios such as government-enterprise and public markets.

Looking ahead, ZTE plans to continue deepening joint innovation with global operators and industry chain partners, focusing on core capability breakthroughs in L4 autonomous networks, and delivering standardized, highly adaptable, and commercially viable high-level autonomous network solutions to help drive the evolution of global communication networks toward high autonomy and full-domain intelligence.
