The network now provides up to 500 Mbps to many Guam residents, a substantial upgrade from the 25 Mbps previously available through copper-based systems. Roland Certeza, GTA’s CEO, stated: “This partnership with Tarana is transforming internet access for our community, delivering high-speed connectivity where it was previously limited.” The service enhances local digital access without impacting trade or consumption dynamics.

A notable example of the network’s impact is the installation at the Guam Animals in Need (GAIN) shelter, where Tarana’s technology now supports operations with hundreds of Mbps, enabling the non-profit to function more effectively.
