L&T Secures INR 5,000-10,000 Crore Offshore Order from Indian Oil and Gas Company

en.Wedoany.com Reported - L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore) has been awarded multiple Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning (EPCIC) contracts by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for projects located offshore the west coast of India, encompassing subsea pipeline replacement and wellhead platform construction.

Under the contracts, LTEH Offshore will undertake engineering for ONGC's Pipeline Replacement Project (PRP-X), including the EPCIC of multiple subsea pipeline sections, as well as associated modifications to the operator's offshore oilfields. Additionally, L&T will execute the EPCIC of four wellhead platforms under a separate independent offshore development project.

These projects are aimed at supporting ONGC's ongoing maintenance and expansion of offshore production infrastructure in western India.

Parthasarathi Chatterjee, Senior Vice President and Head of L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore, stated that L&T's integrated EPCIC capabilities, extensive project execution experience, and commitment to safety continue to earn client trust. He added that the company looks forward to supporting ONGC's offshore development plans and India's broader energy goals.

According to L&T, its offshore business has over four decades of experience delivering shallow-water and deep-water development projects globally, with a scope covering fixed platforms, subsea pipelines and structures, brownfield modifications, and offshore decommissioning projects.
