BP33 Lithium Project in Australia Intersects 34.08m High-Grade Zone

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 11, Australian lithium miner Core Lithium disclosed that its first extensional exploration diamond drill hole NMRD100 at the BP33 project within the Finniss lithium operation intersected high-grade spodumene mineralization outside the current mineral resource boundary. From 578.70 meters downhole, it intersected 34.08 meters grading 2.09% lithium oxide, with an estimated true thickness of 28.50 meters; a further 3.43 meters grading 2.44% lithium oxide was intersected from 616.54 meters downhole.

The 34.08m main zone contains multiple higher-grade intervals of 5.28m, 5.40m, 7.11m, and 9.83m, with lithium oxide grades ranging from 2.19% to 2.80%. NMRD100 is located near the previous drill hole NMRD085, which intersected a 90.17m zone grading 1.80% lithium oxide at a depth of 568.83 meters.

BP33 currently has a mineral resource of 10.5 million tonnes at an average lithium oxide grade of 1.53%. These results have not yet been included in the resource estimate, nor have they tested the exploration target of 3.9 to 6.5 million tonnes located down-dip of the current resource. Core Lithium plans to drill four additional holes to continue testing the mineralization extension along the dip and strike of NMRD085 and NMRD100.
