en.Wedoany.com Reported - DP World has released its H1 2026 results, reporting revenue of $12.7 billion, a 13.1% increase year-on-year. The company stated that the diversified layout of its global portfolio helped it withstand the impact of disruptions to Middle East trade flows.

DP World reports growth in H1 2026

Growth in logistics, maritime services, and international ports and terminals operations offset the decline in volumes at the Jebel Ali port complex. Due to regional conflicts, vessel traffic at the port has temporarily decreased, but the facility itself remains fully operational and has not suffered physical damage.

Excluding Jebel Ali, on a like-for-like basis, DP World's container volumes grew by 6.5% year-on-year, with growth recorded across Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas. Adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) increased by 9.7% year-on-year during the same period.

To ensure the continued movement of critical cargo during the disruption, DP World has implemented mitigation measures across its regional network, including expanding inland collection and distribution connectivity.

In the first half of the year, the company invested $1.5 billion across its global portfolio and expects total investment of approximately $3 billion for the full year 2026, with funds allocated to new capacity and trade infrastructure projects in key growth markets including the UAE, the United Kingdom, India, Saudi Arabia, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Group Chairman Essa Kazim stated that the company is expanding its UAE gateway network through two new terminals in Fujairah (with 50-year concession rights), which extends the Jebel Ali ecosystem, providing shippers with greater flexibility and supply chain resilience while reinforcing confidence in the UAE's position as a leading global trade hub.

Group Chief Executive Officer Yuvraj Narayan attributed the underlying performance to the strength of DP World's global network and its ability to deliver efficient end-to-end supply chain solutions for shippers. He emphasized that disciplined capital allocation, cost management, and operational efficiency are fundamental to navigating uncertainty and creating long-term value for stakeholders.

DP World stated that despite near-term uncertainties, it remains confident in the medium-to-long-term outlook for global trade, underpinned by its diversified network and growing integrated logistics business.
