U.S. StoneX Group Announces Completion of AMG Acquisition

en.Wedoany.com Reported - StoneX Group Inc., a U.S. financial and commodity services company, has completed its acquisition of Advanced Marketing Group LLC (AMG), a distributor of feed ingredients, pet food ingredients, and organic fertilizers. In an announcement released on August 19, StoneX stated that the business will be integrated into the feed ingredient segment of StoneX Supply & Trading. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

StoneX said the acquisition introduces new foundational assets (animal proteins) to its feed ingredient platform, while expanding its customer base and extending its geographic footprint across North America. For AMG, StoneX will provide additional capital to support scaling, a proven risk management platform, and global reach capabilities.

Brent Grecian, CEO of StoneX Supply & Trading, stated that AMG brings a mature and well-run feed ingredient business whose supplier relationships and "approved supplier" status are difficult to replicate. He added that through collaboration with other StoneX business units, the company expects to grow its share of customers' feed and ingredient needs and extend its physical commodity capabilities into animal proteins and pet food ingredients.

Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Wilsonville, Oregon, AMG trades animal protein-based feed ingredients and produces organic fertilizers, serving pet food manufacturers, dairy and poultry producers, feed mills, feedlots, and fertilizer brands. AMG currently employs approximately 20 trading and operations professionals across Oregon, Kansas, Texas, Virginia, and Canada, with a business network spanning multiple transloading and warehousing locations.

AMG owners Ted Skinner and Pete Schoonveld stated that StoneX's platform provides the capital and infrastructure for their business to grow in ways they could not achieve on their own, adding that the team is proud of what they have accomplished and that StoneX's platform is the ideal place to take the business further into the future.
