en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 9, Indonesian AI computing platform Zankore announced the signing of a senior term loan of up to US$3.1 billion to procure and deploy NVIDIA GPU infrastructure and build an AI cloud platform serving the Indonesian and Southeast Asian markets. The company is currently deploying the first phase of 100MW of NVIDIA AI infrastructure; the platform will provide GPU clusters for model training, fine-tuning, large-scale inference, and agentic AI applications.

Zankore is jointly advanced by Qatari telecommunications group Ooredoo, Indonesian telecommunications operator Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, NVIDIA, and Nokia. Ooredoo is the founding shareholder and principal investor, holding a 49% stake in Zankore and committing approximately US$800 million to support the platform's launch and initial construction.

Citigroup served as sole debt advisor for the US$3.1 billion financing. Citi, ING, Natixis CIB, Qatar National Bank Group (QNB), and United Overseas Bank (UOB) served as senior mandated lead arrangers, underwriters, and bookrunners. The financing proceeds will be used directly for the procurement of NVIDIA GPU equipment and the deployment of AI cloud infrastructure.

Zankore previously announced its overall construction roadmap on August 6, with a long-term goal of forming 1GW of NVIDIA DSX AI Factory capacity in Southeast Asia. Under the plan at that time, the platform aimed to achieve approximately 200MW of AI computing capacity in the first half of 2027, adopting NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 systems. The 100MW announced in September is the current first-phase deployment scale, constituting the first stage of the 200MW initial construction target.

The platform also plans to deploy NVIDIA's DSX MaxLPS power optimization system to dynamically schedule the power of GPU clusters. According to technical parameters published by Ooredoo, the system is designed to increase available computing capacity by up to 40% under the same power supply capacity. Nokia is responsible for providing network capabilities for AI infrastructure, while Indosat is responsible for Indonesia's local digital infrastructure and market access.

Zankore's AI cloud services will target AI companies, traditional enterprises, startups, developers, and institutional users, and will adopt revenue-sharing and credit support mechanisms to match GPU infrastructure expansion with customer demand. The platform will first be deployed in Indonesia, then expand to other Southeast Asian markets.
