TransPak's Packaging Plant in Chonburi, Thailand Officially Begins Operations

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 22, TransPak, a global packaging and logistics solutions company, announced that its new plant in Chonburi Province, Thailand, has officially begun operations. The facility is located in the Namyong Terminal Free Zone in the Bueng Subdistrict of Si Racha District, covering an area of 2,318 square meters. It mainly provides industrial packaging, final assembly, on-site packaging, and regional logistics services for customers in Thailand and Southeast Asia. The new plant focuses on serving semiconductor, data server, data center, and other high-value equipment manufacturing companies.

The plant's operations cover engineered packaging solutions, custom wooden crates and packaging structures, on-site equipment packaging, and transportation coordination. TransPak will provide pre-transport protection for semiconductor equipment, server systems, and other high-value precision equipment, involving equipment crating, securing, shock absorption, moisture protection, and subsequent logistics coordination. For large equipment that cannot be packaged within the plant, the team can also go to customer production sites to perform Pack-on-Site packaging operations.

The Chonburi plant also undertakes some final assembly and supply chain support services, allowing customers to complete final-stage assembly, packaging, and logistics organization before equipment shipment. The plant is located in the Namyong Terminal Free Zone, close to major manufacturing and logistics corridors in eastern Thailand, and can connect to domestic transportation and international export networks. TransPak's official website has listed the Chonburi base in its global operations network and explicitly positioned it as a specialized packaging node serving the Southeast Asian semiconductor industry.

TransPak's new plant in Thailand coincides with the growth of local investment in electronics and semiconductor manufacturing. Data from the Thailand Board of Investment shows that since 2023, Thailand's electronics industry has received cumulative investment exceeding 1 trillion baht, including 224 printed circuit board and electronic component-related projects with investment exceeding 331 billion baht, covering investment directions such as AI hardware and advanced semiconductor packaging.

As the new base enters operation, TransPak plans to continue expanding its local team in Thailand, adding packaging engineering, on-site service, and logistics personnel. The Chonburi plant will coordinate with its other packaging and logistics facilities in Asia to provide regional customers with equipment design packaging, transport preparation, regional transportation, and cross-border logistics services.
