China's Fanya Safety Breaks Ground on $30 Million Safety Glove Factory in Vietnam

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 25, China's Fanya Safety held a groundbreaking ceremony for its occupational safety glove manufacturing factory at the VSIP Lang Son Industrial Park in Lang Son Province, Vietnam. The project is located on plot CN-14.2 in Phase I of the industrial park, covering an area of approximately 4 hectares, with a total investment of $30 million and a designed annual production capacity of 150 million pairs of multifunctional labor protection gloves. The project is Fanya Safety's first factory invested and built in Vietnam, and also the first manufacturing project in VSIP Lang Son Industrial Park to officially enter the construction phase.

Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Jiangsu, China, Fanya Safety is primarily engaged in the production of labor protection gloves, with existing operations covering automated production lines and a variety of functional protective gloves. The Vietnam project will become its first overseas manufacturing base, undertaking large-scale production of labor protection gloves and serving Southeast Asia and other overseas markets.

VSIP Lang Son Industrial Park is located in the Huu Lung and Tuan Son areas of Lang Son Province, with a total planned area of nearly 600 hectares. Phase I of the park has completed land clearance of 217.2 hectares, and infrastructure such as internal roads, water supply, and wastewater treatment is currently under construction. As of September this year, the park has attracted 9 secondary investors, with cumulative leased land exceeding 43 hectares and registered investment of approximately $125 million to $130 million.

The area where the Fanya Safety factory is located lies along the Nanning–Lang Son–Hanoi–Hai Phong–Quang Ninh economic corridor, and can connect to raw material and export markets through Vietnam-China border crossings and ports in northern Vietnam. With the project entering the construction phase, VSIP Lang Son has also further transitioned from park infrastructure development to the stage of manufacturing project implementation.
