en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 8, Dutch medical technology company Philips signed a cooperation agreement with Shenzhen Prunus Medical Technology Co., Ltd. and its subsidiary Shenzhen Dayuan Medical Technology Co., Ltd. Under the agreement, Prunus Medical will become Philips' strategic partner for its monitoring business in the Chinese mainland and obtain exclusive authorization for relevant monitoring products, responsible for product sales, market promotion, and services, while also undertaking localization and follow-up work for some products. Both parties expect to complete the relevant cooperation arrangements by the fourth quarter of 2026, with the final timing depending on the satisfaction of agreed preconditions.

This agreement involves Philips' monitoring product business in the Chinese mainland market. Prunus Medical will be responsible for market sales and customer service for the relevant products, and will undertake localization work within the scope agreed in the agreement. The two parties have not yet disclosed the specific authorized product models, product quantities involved, contract amount, localization production locations, or subsequent implementation timelines.

Prunus Medical and Philips have previously cooperated in business. On September 13, 2024, the two parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement during the Chinese Congress of Critical Care Medicine, intending to carry out market promotion and sales cooperation for life support equipment in the Chinese mainland, which at that time involved business synergy between Philips patient monitoring systems and Prunus Medical ventilators, infusion systems, and other products. This new agreement further clarifies the exclusive authorization and service responsibilities for the relevant Philips monitoring products in the Chinese mainland.
