Vietnam Wellrain Textile Dyeing Factory Commences Operation with Annual Output of 42 Million Square Meters
en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 6, the Vietnam Wellrain textile dyeing factory was officially completed and put into operation in the Hai Ha Industrial Park in Quang Ninh Province. The project has a total investment of 381 billion Vietnamese dong (approximately USD 15 million), with a designed annual production capacity of approximately 42 million square meters, equivalent to producing 8,400 tons of dyed fabric per year. After more than a year of construction, the factory has completed the construction of its plant and supporting facilities and has entered the official operation stage.
The project is located in the Texhong–Hai Ha Industrial Park in Quang Ha Commune, Quang Ninh Province, invested by Springtex Private Limited and implemented by Wellrain (Vietnam) Textile Co., Ltd. The factory covers an area of approximately 25,638 square meters and utilizes standardized factory buildings and ancillary facilities within the industrial park for production. Its main business activities include woven grey fabric manufacturing, fabric dyeing, and textile finishing, with dyed fabric as the primary product.
The project first obtained an investment registration certificate issued by the Quang Ninh Economic Zone Management Board on June 3, 2025, and completed its second registration adjustment on May 6, 2026. In April 2026, Wellrain submitted an application for a project environmental license to the competent authority, covering standardized factory buildings, production facilities, and supporting works. The Quang Ninh Economic Zone Management Board issued Environmental License No. 276/GPMT-BQLKKT on June 5, approving the project to carry out production-related activities within the licensed scope.
After the factory is put into operation, it will establish a designed fabric production capacity of 42 million square meters per year in the Hai Ha Industrial Park, covering woven fabric processing, dyeing, and finishing. The Quang Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board requires the enterprise to implement safety production, environmental protection, personnel training, and labor management during official operations, and to continuously advance production organization and market expansion.
Quang Ninh Province in Vietnam lists textile and garment manufacturing as part of its local processing and manufacturing industry development. The province's 2026 growth target for the processing and manufacturing industry is 26.3%, with the target share of value added from processing and manufacturing in the regional gross domestic product exceeding 14%. The Wellrain project has completed investment registration, environmental licensing, and completion and commissioning procedures, with subsequent production line operations and product supply to be organized by the enterprise.
