Wedoany.com Report-Aug. 16, By August 15, 2025, Ukraine has harvested 24,805.9 thousand tonnes of early grain and leguminous crops from 6,186.6 thousand hectares, covering 55% of the sown area. This yield reflects the country’s strong agricultural output across multiple regions.
Wheat production reached 18,985.7 thousand tonnes from 4,396.2 thousand hectares, while barley contributed 4,732.0 thousand tonnes from 1,247.2 thousand hectares. Peas added 573.5 thousand tonnes from 230.3 thousand hectares, and other grains and legumes accounted for 513.1 thousand tonnes from 310.8 thousand hectares.
Odesa Oblast led with 3,425.3 thousand tonnes harvested from 1,070.4 thousand hectares, followed by Kirovohrad Oblast with 2,204.0 thousand tonnes from 533.4 thousand hectares, and Vinnytsia Oblast with 2,082.9 thousand tonnes from 337.6 thousand hectares, showcasing robust regional contributions.
Rapeseed harvesting produced 3,014.5 thousand tonnes from 1,184.8 thousand hectares, bolstering Ukraine’s oilseed supply. Buckwheat harvesting has also started in Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk Oblasts, expanding the crop portfolio.
