The renewed agreement focuses on transforming Vi’s IT operations, enhancing application management, and establishing a comprehensive cyber resilience framework.
Under the collaboration, Kyndryl will design and implement an advanced cybersecurity architecture for Vi, incorporating security governance, zero-touch services, data protection, identity and access management, security operations, and incident recovery capabilities. The redesigned framework will improve compliance readiness for future regulatory requirements, provide early threat visibility, and enable faster recovery of critical systems.
Kyndryl will also introduce a next-generation IT operations model powered by automation and AI-driven insights. This includes major transformation initiatives in backup systems, storage management, and continuous data protection, delivering greater operational agility and cost efficiency for Vi.
Vi will continue using Kyndryl Bridge, the company’s AI-enabled open integration platform, which has already deployed over 1,000 automations at Vi, reducing delivery event noise by 15% and providing unified observability across business services. Globally, Kyndryl Bridge generates more than 15 million AI-powered insights monthly for over 1,200 customers.
Jagbir Singh, CTO of Vi, said: “At Vi, our focus is on building a resilient, scalable and intelligent IT backbone that can support rapid innovation and business agility. Our partnership with Kyndryl enables us to leverage advanced automation, AI-driven insights and a zero-touch operations model to optimize our IT infrastructure. This collaboration is a strategic step forward in aligning our technology investments with long-term business objectives and delivering greater value to our customers.”
