Wedoany.com Report-Dec.19, Bunge Global SA has appointed Julio Garros as Chief Operating Officer, effective following the departure of former Co-COO David Mattiske on December 12, 2025. Garros had shared the Co-COO role with Mattiske since April 2024.

In his new position, Garros oversees the company's worldwide commercial operations. His responsibilities encompass management of global commodity value chains, regional and country teams, sustainability programs, renewable fuels development, regenerative agriculture initiatives, as well as manufacturing operations and safety standards.

Garros joined Bunge in 2002 and has progressed through various senior roles in finance, operations, and commercial strategy. In 2022, he became Co-President of the Agribusiness Division, where he contributed significantly to formulating and implementing the company's international commercial approach, enhancing global production facilities, and developing innovative solutions for farmers and end consumers across multiple markets.

Prior to Bunge, Garros began his professional career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and later served as an auditor at the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He earned a bachelor's degree from the National University of Mar del Plata and a master's degree in finance, accounting, and economics from the University of Palermo.

The appointment positions Garros to lead operational execution across Bunge's diverse portfolio, supporting continued growth in agribusiness and related sectors worldwide.
