Kemira Completes Acquisition of AquaBlue to Strengthen North American Industrial Water Treatment Services

Wedoany.com News, recently, the Finnish chemical company Kemira announced the completion of its acquisition of the American industrial water treatment service provider AquaBlue, Inc. This move aims to strengthen its service capabilities in the North American market and accelerate the expansion of service-oriented water treatment solutions.

The acquisition is intended to integrate AquaBlue's service expertise in the industrial water treatment field with Kemira's existing technology and chemical portfolio. This will enhance Kemira's ability to provide end-to-end, integrated solutions for industrial clients in sectors such as food and beverage, manufacturing, and healthcare.

Tuija Pohjolainen-Hiltunen, Executive Vice President of Kemira's Water Solutions business, stated that this is another strategic move by Kemira in the North American industrial water treatment service sector, following the acquisition of Water Engineering, Inc.
