Wedoany.com Report on Feb 5th, the No. 2 unit of the Yijinhuoluo Banner 4×100 MW Back-Pressure Unit Cogeneration Project, which is currently the largest back-pressure cogeneration heating project in China and was constructed under EPC by China Energy Engineering Group North China Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd., has successfully completed a 72+24-hour full-load trial run and officially commenced commercial operation.

The project is located in Aletengxire Town, Yijinhuoluo Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia. It is a key energy security project for the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The construction includes four 580-ton/hour high-temperature, high-pressure coal-fired fluidized bed boilers, paired with four 100 MW-class back-pressure heating steam turbine generator sets. This forms a "heat-determined power" cogeneration model, with a rated heating load of 1056 MW and a maximum heating load of 1330 MW. The No. 2 unit is the first unit of this project to be put into operation.
