This news was shared by the company's CEO, Tracy Robinson, during a recent earnings conference call.

Robinson highlighted Alderson's significant professionalism and contributions during her tenure at CN. Succeeding Alderson is Jamie Lockwood, who has been appointed Vice President, Investor Relations and Special Projects. Lockwood previously served as Vice President of Engineering and has approximately eighteen years of experience in the railway industry. Robinson added, "Lockwood has played a pivotal role in finance, internal audit, supply chain management, and more recently, in engineering. He has collaborated with Chief Operating Officer Pat Whitehead to drive innovation in engineering strategy and implementation methods."
To ensure a smooth transition in investor relations responsibilities, Alderson and Lockwood plan to work together over the next month.
