Xi'an XD Power Capacitor Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as XDXR) (formerly Xi'an Power Capacitor Factory) is affiliated with China Electrical Equipment Group Co., Ltd., the only central enterprise in China's power transmission and transformation industry, and is a wholly-owned subsidiary invested by China XD Electric Co., Ltd. (stock code: 601179). Founded in August 1953 and put into operation in 1958, it was one of the 156 key construction projects during China's "First Five-Year Plan" and the first specialized power capacitor manufacturing company in China, as well as a national key backbone enterprise.
For many years, XDXR has been a pioneer in power capacitor technology, processes, and applications. After decades of development, relying on profound historical accumulation, continuous technological innovation, and technical upgrades, it has become the largest-scale, strongest in technical strength, most experienced in operation, and most comprehensive in production capacity enterprise and R&D base in China's power capacitor industry. The company is mainly engaged in the development and manufacturing of power capacitors and their complete sets of devices, as well as reactors; the development and manufacturing of capacitor voltage transformers and current transformers; and the manufacturing of supercapacitors, standard capacitors, pulse capacitors, DC link/support capacitors, and high-voltage test equipment. Its products are primarily applied to AC and DC transmission and transformation systems, various power plant projects, and multiple fields such as mining, metallurgy, chemical industry, data centers, rail transit, etc. In addition, they are exported to dozens of countries and regions in Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia, and the Americas, providing reliable products and technical support for global power construction.
