The TBBZ series automatic switching cabinet-type reactive power compensation device is used in 35kV~220kV substations of power systems and industrial and mining enterprise user substations with bus voltage of 6~35kV for automatic reactive power compensation, keeping the power factor and voltage of the substation always within the preset range, ensuring basic balance of reactive power in the grid, reducing energy loss, and improving power quality.

  • Integrates capacitors, reactors, switching switches, protection devices, etc. into a standard cabinet, with compact structure and convenient installation.
  • Capacitor group capacity and number of groups of the automatic switching cabinet can be customized according to user requirements.
  • Can monitor grid voltage, current, and reactive power changes in real time, automatically switch capacitor groups, realize dynamic reactive power compensation, and improve power factor.
  • The device has overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, quick-break, unbalanced voltage/current protection to ensure the overall safe and reliable operation.
  • The device is equipped with electromagnetic lock and cabinet door travel switch, interlocked with the upper-level switch to effectively prevent accidental entry into live equipment.
  • Automatic compensation group switching, high compensation accuracy, small impact, can obtain the maximum reactive power compensation effect; has RS-485 communication interface to realize four-remote function, can interface with substation integrated automation to realize local, background computer and dispatching three-way management and control.
  • The controller adopts the "nine-zone" control principle to automatically identify various operating modes of transformers and capacitors in the substation and prevent switching oscillation.

Temperature Rise The temperature rise at each connection does not exceed 50K; the temperature rise of each electrical equipment does not exceed its respective regulations
Inrush Current Back-to-back additional closing inrush current does not exceed 20 times the rated current of the capacitor bank (peak value)
